Thank Christ.

When I was in Budapest, I of course had my Blackberry on me at all times.  I was at dinner on the 3rd night, when Here Comes The Hotstepper played on it, indicating I had e-mail at my super important e-mail address, which I generally have to respond to immediately.  After checking it, someone asked me

“You’re not using your Blackberry for e-mail over here, are you?”

“Yeah……..why?”

“International data transfer rates.  It’s like $2 a kilobyte.  How many e-mails do you get in a day?”

“About um……..400.”

So yeah, since coming back from Budapest I’ve been shiting myself waiting for my Rogers bill to arrive.  I probably could have called them and asked, but really I was too scared to.  Much like how you don’t get tested for cancer – you’d just rather not know.  Then this evening that e-mail arrived – “Your Rogers Bill is now available”, and I took a deep breath and opened it….

$283.41.

WHEW.

I was seriously expecting a 6 figure sum.  Apparently I DON’T get charged for receiving e-mails however – only if I am browsing the web or doing text messages or using Blackberry Messenger.  That’s what cost the extra – it bumped my bill up by about $161.

I’m almost disappointed.  I’ve been practicing my “WAH WAH I DIDNT KNOW I AM SO NAIVE” phone call to Rogers for weeks now.

This is such a dumb thing to say

But I am having trouble with not working.

I wrote on September 30th about how it was Time to Chillax.  Basically I’ve been working my ass off for a long time, and now I should be taking time off, only doing the urgent stuff, but basically just taking it easy for awhile.

Man, is it ever hard.

It sounds retarded to be whining about something like this, but I really find it hard to switch off.  I just can’t sit there and watch a movie, or a TV show, or sports.  I always feel like I have to be working, or doing something – anything.  Multi-tasking is just something I have been doing for so long, I’ve forgotten how to relax.

However it is actually a good thing – because it motivates the fuck out of me.  You have no idea how much I want to get back to work, and start working my ass off.  I’ve got a million ideas on how to improve my Casino Signup Bonus website for example, which I can’t wait to implement.

Oh well – tomorrow I’ll be good, as I have a nice day ahead of doing nothing but playing Resident Evil 5.  Wheee.  Achievements here I come.

Kingston->Toronto->Edmonton.
Edmonton->Toronto->Kingston.

That is seriously fucking retarded.  At first I thought it was because Edmonton is only 6 weeks away, and the London trip is end of January.  However I checked for a flight to Edmonton in January – still around $1200!!!  And that’s without seat selection.  Seat selection is complementary on the latter.  On the Edmonton trip it would add another $100.

Fucking retarded.

Time to Chillax

I had these plans when I came back from Budapest to spend some time relaxing.  I’d get caught up on whatever I needed to get caught up on, and then chill out for awhile.

Unfortunately the opposite happened.

I went crazy with work.  I was still busy working on my new Casino Bonus site.  I launched Play Keno Online and NFL Betting Tips.  And I just finished a complete redesign and revamp of Ultimate Poker Bankroll.  Add in a ton of other work, writing content for sites, adding new rooms etc etc and yeah – I’ve worked an absolute shitload.

It’s time to chill the fuck out.

From now until October 26th I plan on doing the absolute bare minimum.  I’ll respond to e-mails.  I’ll write a few articles.  I’ll update the sites if required.  But other than that – absolutely fucking nothing.  Just spending as much time away from the computer as is possible.  Of course everyone that knows me is laughing – hell I told someone on Monday that I would be away from the computer all day Tuesday, and I ended up getting bogged down with work all fucking day.

It’s time for some “me” time.  Which funnily enough, is probably the hardest thing of all.  I find it hard to NOT work really – it’s just something I am used to, and I love.  However in my head it all makes sense.  I have a website I want to launch in November.  November 1st, to be specific.  If I do nothing until October 26, I can get that site launched in a week(so save that week for me Frank!).  I’m going to Edmonton on November 5th for the weekend and taking Janise with me, so we can scout around and see if we should move there.  I’ll spend more of November just chillaxing.  Who knows – maybe I’ll take the rest of the year off!

Yeah okay, I’ll be back at it tomorrow I am sure.  But we’ll see.  Right now I am fucking exhausted, and going to go play Xbox for the first time in 6 weeks, then head to bed and just sleep in.
