Damn you Xbox, damn you Scotsmanality!

I would just like to give a big fuck you to both my Xbox 360, and the site formally known as Scotsmanality.

On my last update, I was all set to put on the #12 movie on the NPP list, as well as do lots of work and clear my to do list.  I decided to continue to work on the Mystress article and retrieving that to post on NPP – when disaster struck, as I discovered the database had lost all but about 10 articles.

I have absolutely no idea how this could happen.  I went through my backups – and guess what, they are corrupted!  I spent hours trying to find a backup to no joy.  So bar a minor miracle, almost every article(except what is on web.archive.org – and that ain’t a fucking lot) is gone for good.  🙁  You have no idea how upsetting this is – I mean, that was a huge part of my life, all gone.

Then the XBox 360 arrived.  The 360 site still says it is in repair, so this really threw me for a loop.  If I knew it was arriving, I would’ve got the millions and millions of work I have to do all finished, in preparation for its return.  Sadly I didn’t, and so it came at a bad time, with me in the middle of a million fucking things.  Mason wanted to play Lego Indiana Jones and we did that for a bit, then I tested Fallout 3 and Civilization, both games which crashed a lot with the broken XBox – so far, so good.

But anyway – sadomaschisitic that I am – I think I am going to leave the XBox 360 tonight, and just do all the necessary work that I can.  I know – I’m crazy – even my wife is telling me to stop fucking working and play some X-Box – but what can I do – I love my job!
