Madagascar 2
I took Mason to see Madagascar 2 on Wednesday. Overall, it was a pretty fun movie. Animated movies are so much more than just a celebrity voice, and Madagascar 2 really demonstrated that, with the usual characters of David Schwimmer and Ben Stiller mapped to perfection, so that you really felt it was them playing the characters, and not just a voice to sell tickets.
The greatest thing about the movie though, was the people that stopped us from entering for about 10 minutes, meaning we missed most of the trailers. It was a teenager and a person with downs syndrome and one of those walkers, who was quite obese. So obese she blocked the whole entrance. The reason we couldn’t get in, is because all the lights were off in the theatre, and this obese retard was SCARED OF THE DARK. So the teenage girl with her is trying to coax her in, while the retard is letting of those retard moans and groans that they do, screaming and yelling and fighting her off. It was all rather humorous though, and probably better than the show itself. She finally got her in, and then every time the theatre went dark you’d hear that “MAARRRGGGGHHHH” coming from the back row.
At first I felt sorry for these people – then I just got pissed off. I mean really, if you have a retard who is scared of the dark, why would you take them to a fucking movie? And if so, why wouldn’t you get in early so the lights are on, and at the very least bring a bright flashlight? Fucking retards.
