Goddamnit…

…I really need to do some fucking work.

I ended up just watching the soccer all morning, then going in for a bath and finishing off the book Night of Thunder by Stephen Hunter – review coming tomorrow.  I got out of that at 2pm, and played a bit of Saints Row 2 until 3pm at which point I watched UFC 89.  Good enough show, and I came out profitable thanks to Keith Jardine, although very barely.  God, I hate Soukodjou so fucking much.  When he brings his “A” game he is awesome but he rarely brings it, and it’s always when I never bet on him.

This is the stage where I’d like to just sit on the computer for the next six hours and work hard, but one of my best friends is in town, and texted me wanting to go for a few beers.  I don’t really feel up for it, but I haven’t seen him in awhile so what the hell.  First thing I am going to do when I get there though is tell the bartender to cut me off at 3 pints, as I really don’t need to wake up with a hangover tomorrow.

So now?  Well it’s 6pm and we’re going out at 9 – I really want to take a fucking nap as I am exhausted but I am looking after the kids just now, blah.  Oh well – at least I can get some stuff done.  Current To Do List: 56.

Also I posted my NFL tips on NPP in the NFL Betting Thread.  As I’ve mentioned I am currently 13-2 this season, well my friend happily pointed out that this was the week where Brandon Lang in Two For the Money started going downhill big time.  His problem in the movie was that he got too confident, and I am a bit worried I do too as I have the most bets I’ve placed all season.  They are:

Chargers ML.
Ravens +3.
Bengals +10.
Bears -3
Panthers -3.
49ers +10.5.
Browns +7.5.
Colts -1.
Seahawks +10.5.

That’s 9 bets, so I could theoretically be 13-10 by the end of the weekend, so just a TAD nervous here.
