lol WTF?

I get at least one e-mail per day from a poker room or online casino wanting me to work with them.  Often I have exclusive deals on those network, or I’m just plain not interested in adding their program right now.  A lot of affiliates get angry at these e-mails clogging up their inbox, but I figure it’s par for the course, reply politely and move on.

Well a guy Dave from one poker room which is on a poker network sent me one of these e-mails, and I replied politely explaining that I work exclusively with another site on that network, and so I won’t be promoting them.  Well then I get an e-mail from Dave today with the subject: “Explain yourself”.  He has spoken with the marketing director of the other site, and I apparently have “no such deal”, and in his own words, “please explain yourself”.  Gee I don’t know – maybe I made the deal with the CEO of the fucking site, not some fucking lackey “marketing director”?

Maybe I am overreacting on this, but it pisses me off that I was polite enough to respond honestly, and I get this guy going behind me back.  I e-mailed him back just to say “Explain what exactly?  And while we are at it – please explain why you are going around asking these questions” and we’ll go from there.  Basically I’m just gonna give him enough rope to hang himself and if I don’t get an apology or good explanation,  then I will post about it publicly on all the affiliate related forums and really hurt their business.  Seriously, what an ass.
