XBox Update: September 2021

Very weak month for me.

I mentioned last month that I was reducing my work life to 30 hours per week. I did that, yet it didn’t really allow too much time for gaming.

I think the family all being off really affects that as busy with them, busy with a lot of housework etc.

September will be interesting with them going back to school / college. I have a backlog to do list of about 15-20 items that I am working on. It was like 150 items back in May or June so I’ve been very busy.

Once that is done I plan on taking a couple of weeks off work except for my daily to do list, sports tips and anything that pops up that needs taken care of. Then going to an even more reduced schedule of 25 hours per week going forward.

Hopefully that means more Xboxing? Although in my spare time these days I prefer to read but we’ll see how it goes.

This month I played:

Hard West: Finished the third episode. 7 of 35 achievements. I gained 2 from last month.

Wolfenstein: The New Order: Started this game. Fun one so far only really past the first level. 8/50 achievements.

Dodgeball Academia: On Gamepass and seemed a fun little game to play. 6 of 37 achievements so far.

Sadly none of them have super hooked me which is what I need these days like XCom 2, Gears Tactics, Mutant Year Zero. Still enjoying them though and I downloaded a game via PC Gamepass called Phoenix Point that looks fun. Hopefully play that soon.
